Jeppe of the Hill, 2004

Jeppe of the Hill by Danish playwright Ludvig Holberg opened at NoerregadeTeatret in Denmark in August 2004.

Jeppe of the Hill is the classic, Danish comedy about the drunken peasant Jeppe and the trick the Baron and his men play on him - probably the most famous Danish play ever written.
Sets and costumes were designed by Lisbeth Burian. Lighting design by Søren Normann Hansen, and Frank Rubæk gave a critically acclaimed performance as Jeppe. Jeppe of the Hill was performed at the old power plant in Maribo, Noerregadeteatret’s new performance space.
